#ЮРИСТДОМА – look behind the scenes of the working life of a qualified lawyer with extensive practical experience.
The creator of project is the member of the Public Organization “Creative House “Copyright”, attorney, a practicing copyright lawyer in the field of show business Juliia Iskova. The project was created specifically for people who have a strong desire to defend their own intellectual and creative work, but do not know where to start and, in general, how to approach such a difficult topic as copyright.
The idea arose due to many years of experience of the work between author of the project and many artists, musicians, directors, photographers, poets, producers, choreographers and even chefs. When everyone came to the consultation, they asked about the same questions, but everyone had their own zest, which made the work of a copyright lawyer so interesting and exciting, because there was always something to wonder and think about.
At some point, the author of the project realized that most of her clients, who came with a specific problem of encroachment on their intellectual property, could not make so many mistakes at the beginning of their career and not lose precious time and money, if they had at least a general idea of copyright law and basic rules and mechanisms of protection of their intellectual work.
Having collected a long list of questions over the years, the author of the project grouped them into relevant topics and decided to share her knowledge and answer such questions, giving access to answers to anyone who wants to listen and, most importantly, hear and apply this knowledge for free.
This is how the #ЮРИСТДОМА project was born, a video blog on the author’s YouTube channel with answers to current questions in the field of copyright protection.
And in order for the audience not to get bored with complicated terminology and incomprehensible theoretical concepts in the fifth minute of the video, the author introduced his vision of presenting the material – simple language, explanations with clear examples and brevity. At the same time, the general ease created by the author in the video makes the audience closer, as if the listeners are not somewhere on the other side of the monitor, but here, together with a lawyer in an atmosphere of friendly communication, as reflected by the project name.
